The Chilbury Ladies’ Choir – Jennifer Ryan

Set in Kent during 1940, the story takes place in the idyllic English village of Chilbury during the early days of World War II. As the local men leave for the front lines, the village vicar decides to close down the choir. In defiance, a group of resilient women come together to form an all-female choir, forging deep bonds and finding the strength to withstand the hardships and heartbreaks of the war.
