Airframe – Michael Crichton

The story is about Casey Singleton, a quality assurance vice president at Norton Aircraft. After a commercial airliner “porpoises” over the Pacific, resulting in deaths and numerous injuries, she must lead a high-stakes investigation to find the cause. The investigation is complicated by corporate politics, media pressure from a TV network eager for a scandal, and sabotage from within the company.
