The Preacher – Camilla Läckberg

The story is set in the small coastal fishing community of Fjällbacka. A young boy playing near the King’s Ravine discovers the body of a young woman, but the police find more than they bargained for: underneath her are the skeletal remains of two other girls who disappeared twenty years earlier.

Detective Patrik Hedström leads the investigation while navigating his personal life with his pregnant partner, Erica Falck. The search for the killer centers on the Hults, a local family of religious fanatics and criminals with many dark secrets.
